About Bishop Parris

Parris is the founder of Church Of Love Faith Center, and has served faithfully as the pastor and shepherd for more than twenty-five years.  He has laid a foundation for a thriving and loving congregation, which has grown to be a viable body within the community. God has given His servant a heart and a vision for community outreach, evangelism, prophetic ministry, and leadership development. 

In addition to being a pastor/shepherd over Church Of Love Faith Center in Rochester, NY and Temple Hills, MD he continues to lend pastoral oversight to the University of Rochester Christian Fellowship, and serves as an adjunct professor at Monroe Community College. He is often a guest lecturer for religion classes at the University of Rochester, and the Rochester Automotive Professionals Prayer Meeting. Bishop Parris is also the chairman of Pastors United to S.T.R.I.K.E. (Serve Together Rochester Instilling Kingdom Excellence) and the director of the Eagle Youth Arts Academy. 

His passion for serving, and humility have taken him to countries, outside the United States, such as the Bahamian Islands, Trinidad, Grand Cayman Island, London, England, Pretoria and Johannesburg, South Africa, and Cuba.  He has served as speaker/workshop facilitator for such topics as praise and worship, developing a liturgical band, financial freedom, youth ministry, male/female relationships, reuniting the family, and marriage. 

He was successful for eighteen years in the retail automobile business including sales, management and ownership. 

Bishop Parris and his wife, Myra, have three children: infant twins, Addison and Chelsea, and Matthew who is also a gifted musician and very involved in ministry with his parents.
